Queerantine was an Instagram-based bi-weekly newsletter that highlights virtual offerings by and for the global queer community. From movie screenings and panels to free classes and dance breaks: queerantine acted as a virtual neighborhood cultivating interpersonal connections and resource sharing.
This project existed from March 2020 to July 2021, and was paused indefinitely due to resource distribution and inadequate staffing.
The People’s Workshops was a platform for individuals and collectives to bring their skill sets and share them out to the wider protest community. The intended audience is those who are interested in building out their community safety capacity. Hosted workshops and slide shares aim to develop and spread information on community safety best practices, so that we may build out our collective capacity.
This project was launched in February 2021, and is temporarily paused due to lack of available staff labor.
